This is an informal group, open to anyone interested in Redwork Embroidery whether you’re an experienced stitcher or just a beginner. This year our project is a lovely pattern from Quilting Bee Designs called Grandmothers Thimbles. Each month you will receive a pattern for a new thimble, a background square and a 9’x 22’ piece of sewing themed fabric to create your own thimble collection.
Time: 1:00-4:00pm.
Cost: $5.00
Take a Sunday afternoon, add some quilting friends, a great cup of tea and a project you’ve been meaning to finish (or start!). Our good friends from Healing Spirits Herb Farm supply the tea! So bring your favorite tea cup, a friend and a project on the third Sunday of the month.
Time: 1:00-4:00pm.
Do you love appliqué? Are you curious about the many techniques? No time to try out a new project? This group is just for you! We started this group to explore, share and support appliqué, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced stitcher who would love to take the time and enjoy the company of other quilters. This group is mentored by Mary Shipp and Nancy Drum.
Time: 1:00-4:00pm.
Join us for a day of sewing. You choose the date, bring a friend or two, we’ll supply coffee or tea and a mid-morning snack! You can enjoy a day at your sewing machine without interruption. Just call to choose your date, anytime our classroom is available.
Time: 10:00am - 4:00pm
This beautiful basket sampler includes both 5” and 10” basket blocks. The pattern has 12 different pieced baskets set on point.
Time: 6:00pm
Cost: $5.00 each month (if your blocks are finished!)

I hope you all saw the special Quilts of Valor exhibit at the Glenn H Curtiss Museum show this fall. Many people asked about the project and were interested in getting involved. We would like to start a group of our own so if you are interested join us for this organizational meeting. It’s a great cause.
